the web design process: phase three – develop & test

Now the fun begins. Last week we looked at the design phase of our website process. Once the design is chosen, the user flow is laid out and the sitemap is completed, we can start the build. We typically start with a base template, coded on HTML and CSS and test in all browsers and platforms, and devices. Regardless of whether it is a responsive project or not, it’s always a good idea to see what your website will look like to all users.

Once we have a solid template we can add extra functionality, like sliders, animations or dropdown menus as well as Meta data, titles and analytics code. Then we plug in the content and we are ready for client review!

Next week we’ll get into phase four – launch. If you’re ready to start your web design process drop us a line and let’s get started!
